Do I need to have technical background or experience working in IT to join the program?
No, you don't need technical background to sign up for the program. No coding experience is necessary.
How long does the program last?
The program offers multiple Copilot Studio and Power Platform courses that you can complete at your own pace during the course duration. All courses are four weeks or less.
What are the time commitment expectations during the program?
Participants are expected to spend, on average, 4 hours each week on self-paced learning, webinars, and completing module challenges.
Is this program available worldwide?
Yes
What is the delivery mode for this program (in-person, virtual, or hybrid)? Can I use a Mac for this program?
This program is fully virtual. Yes, you can use a Mac, but you will be limited in some of the course modules (like Power Automate Desktop and Power BI Desktop), as some downloadable Microsoft products are only for Windows.

Program administrators will reach out to you by email with an outline of your next steps.
What kind of career change can I expect at the end of the program?
This program will offer a curriculum that will enable you to design and build business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

How to set up MFA (Multifactor Authentication) for your Power Up Program Hub account?

To enhance our platform's security, we use Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for the Power Up Program to better will secure your accounts.

Starting September 30, 2024, you must set up MFA for your Power Up Program Hub account using the Microsoft Authenticator Application or a phone and email. Review instructions to set up MFA.

When does the next course start? When is the deadline to sign up?

There is specific sign up deadline. You can sign up at any time and enroll in the courses as spots become available.

Will I need access to a Dev (developer) environment for this course?

Yes, this course does require a developer environment and we will provide you with one. 

Will I receive a voucher if I complete the course?
If you earned the Pathfinder, Maker or Certified Graduate badge in Cohort 24 or prior then you are eligible for a voucher.
 
Starting with Cohort 25 (July 2025 onward) we no longer award vouchers to graduates.
